Mona Freedman Morris, a professional genealogist, is the author of “Scattered Seeds, A Guide to Jewish Genealogy”.
She is the founding President of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Palm Beach County and President Emeriti of the same. She was past President of the International Professional Jewish Genealogical Society and was an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
Ms. Morris is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists.

Ms. Morris has written many books for her clients about their ancestry. She has given talks throughout Palm Beach and Broward counties. She is the author of Scattered Seeds: A Guide to Jewish Genealogy.
Ms. Morris, formally of Boca Raton, Florida is now a resident of New York City. She has traced her own family back to 1360 and currently has documented over 10,000 family members.
Ms. Morris, who started her research in 1976, has been featured in many newspapers and magazines. She was the keynote speaker at the International Jewish Librarians Association and actively participated in the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies conference in Orlando in 2018.
